Announcing the 2005 Scholars
The DREAM Institute announces the 2005 Scholarship Award Winners. The Institute received over 150 applications this year. A selection committee made up of a variety of professionals in communities across Oklahoma was selected to review the applications and select this years scholar winners. To read more, click here.
THE DREAM Institute’s 2nd Annual Power to DREAM Achievers Award Banquet was a huge success
Honoring the 2005 Scholar Award Winners, Power to Dream Achiever Award Honoree - World Renown Artist Greg Burns, and the Trustee Award for Excellence Honoree - OU Zarrow Center for Learning Enrichment. The 1st Annual Power to DREAM Achievers Award Banquet
(Tulsa, OK) The DREAM Institute honored Jim Stovall with the “1st Annual Power to DREAM Achievers Award” in addition to honoring the Institute's first Scholars, and awarded the Tulsa Community Foundation with the DREAM Institute Trustee Award for Excellence.

The DREAM Institute receives the A.C.C.E.S.S. Award
On behalf of the DREAM Institute, the co-founders, Kristy Long and Rodney Bryan Pratz received the A.C.C.E.S.S. Award from OK-AHEAD (Oklahoma Association for Higher Education and Disability) on Thursday April 29, 2004 at their Spring Conference in Shawnee, OK. This annual award stands for Advocacy, Cooperation, and Concern for Encouraging Student Success and is given to individuals or organizations in the community that encourage and advocate for student success.
Others who have received this award in the past are: former Tulsa Community College President, Dean Van Trease; Oklahoma State Senator Bernest Cain, Jr. and the General Counsel of the Okalahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Ned Bastow. To read press release, click here.
LAUNCHING OF THE DREAM INSTITUTE
On November 13, 2003 The DREAM Institute was
introduced to a standing room only crowd at OU/Tulsa
Schusterman Campus. Motivational Speakers spoke on
their personal stories of overcoming adversity.
Co-Founders Kristy Long and Rodney Bryan Pratz
introduced the Amazing Achievers present, they
include, Nate Waters, Rosemary Roberson, Stacy
Schusterman on behalf of her father Charles
Schusterman, and Jim Stovall. The keynote address was
given by Keller Johnson Thompson, great great niece of
Helen Keller.
